A result of my cake-making prowess, I originally had the idea to make all the bouquets out of sugar flowers. Then I realized how ridiculous that sounded because nobody would want to carry around a 15 pound bouquet of sugar all day.
My natural next thought was edible paper (for some apparent reason these bouquets really needed to be edible?). I vetoed that idea as well.
I’m thinking I’ll stick with the traditional non-edible flowers for the bouquets, but edible (or not – I can learn to not want everything edible) paper flowers for all other floral needs like table centerpieces and isle runners…but I could be talked out of that as well.
I’ve been told that Costco is the place to go for wedding flowers…
